Scholarship Program
LHRMA’s Community Involvement Committee has partnered with Wavecrest Academy, an alternative high school located in Holland, over the past 2 years. Committee Members with the help of the LHRMA membership have provided workshops for the students on obtaining jobs by building interview skills and “maintaining” a job once in the work force. LHRMA offers a $1,000 scholarship to a an outstanding graduating Senior who is continuing their education in a college or trade school setting. Wavecrest students are expected to follow a similar process as other scholarship candidates yet LHRMA membership is not a requirement.
